En route Print
One of the things I like about travelling by car in the old days is the calm pace of the trip. Holiday started when suitcases were loaded in the car at home. Long breaks with picnics and studying the route on the map were standard and so rewarding. My granddad and mom en route, 1950s.
This is a personal project with scenes from my family’s photos drawn on vintage art catalogue pages. Although it’s an art project with personal connotation, a lot of people can relate to the sweet and oftentimes funny scenes in those long-ago days.
