A few months ago the very nice Garbiñe Tolosa from the Spanish indie brand maripuri tijeritas approached me to design a print for her new collection.
Maripuri tijeritas is a small label of intimate apparel and alternatives to disposable items, designed and manufactured in Donostia (Basque Country) with sustainable and natural materials. They create comfortable, different and enviromentally friendly underwear. And as an alternative to the disposable items Mt presents cloth sanitary pads and panty liners for more sustainable cycles; and cloth diapers for a more conscious parenting.
Oh yes, I’m a fan of this charming company!
After seeing some of my work on Instagram Garbiñe asked for a leaves print in a free style for her new 2016 collection, Orbela. It was fun working for her and even more fun now it’s printed on high quality organic cotton.
The photos for the shoot are amazing and from the very talented Renata Laszczak from Etanowski. Do check out her great portfolio, because it’s a feast for the eyes!
